What Ska bands to check out.

As I mentioned before there are many versions of ska music that I feel can speak to everyone that listens. Maybe you like more of a laidback slow tempo sound or maybe you like loud fast and aggressive either one i’m sure you can find a band that you’ll like.

Bands with a traditional ska/reggae sounds and more upbeat:

The Specials, The Skatalites, Madness, The English Beat, Raskahuele

3rd wave, upbeat and faster:

The Aquabats, Reel Big Fish, No Doubt, The Toasters

Ska-Punk, ska mixed with sounds of punk music:

Sublime, Matamoska, Dskarados, Hub City Trash

Ska-Core; more of a hardcore aggressive sound mixed in with ska:

Amenaza, Mafia Rusa, 8kalacas, The 5th Wave, Los Arambula.

Whatever floats your boat i’m sure one of these bands will have a sound or song that you can jam out to.
